Le Samu Social vient en aide à ceux qui vivent dans la rue, en bas de chez nous. Les maraudeurs leurs apportent le (ré)confort qu’ils n’ont pas : quelque chose à manger, quelqu’un à qui parler, une couverture pour se réchauffer, un toit sous lequel dormir, etc. Contrairement au Samu, le Samu Social n’est pas gouvernemental. Ses actions sont donc en grande partie financées par les dons. Cette campagne est un appel à la solidarité et à la générosité. Elle prend la forme de courtes vidéos sur YouTube et d’une opération spéciale menée dans quelques grandes villes françaises. L’opération consiste à déposer les faux billets du Samu Social dans des lieux très fréquentés pour que les passants les ramassent. Ce n’est pas un billet de 5 euros qu’ils trouvent, mais un appel à la solidarité. (Cette campagne n’est pas officielle, elle a été réalisée dans le cadre d'un projet étudiant.)

Street action
Samu Social helps those who live in the street, on our doorstep. The helpers bring them the comfort and the solace they do not have: something to eat, someone to talk to, a blanket to stay warm with, a roof under which to sleep, etc. Unlike the Samu (French emergency care service), the Samu Social isn’t a government organization. Its actions are mainly financed by donations. This campaign is a call for solidarity and generosity. It takes the form of short videos on YouTube and a special operation in some major French cities. The operation consists of placing the fake banknotes of the Samu Social in busy places so that pedestrians pick them up. They don’t find a 5-euro banknote, they find a call for solidarity. (This campaign is not official, it’s part of a student project.)
